This story contains a few surprises and a two-for-one tale of Lavengel® helping both a Bernedoodle and his human!
Jamie is a nurse practitioner in Southern California that had ordered Lavengel® to help with her dog Smokey's paw wound. His allergy flare-up had created an itching sensation that he had licked and chewed on until a nasty hot spot formed. Thankfully, Lavengel® came to the rescue, and here's what she had to say when she messaged us on Instagram:
"Because of Smokey's allergic reaction, he had a horrible wound on his paw. Applied twice a day and in one week the paw was 95% healed."

While this was going on, Jamie developed a stye in her right eyelid. For those that don't know, a stye is an inflamed swelling on the edge of an eyelid, caused by a bacterial infection of a gland at the base of an eyelash. They can come out of nowhere and be quite painful and annoying.
"Yesterday, I couldn't even open my eye it was so red and swollen. Today the redness is almost gone and swelling is minimal. I applied it topically 5 times on the lid yesterday and before bed, and by tomorrow it should be gone.
I thought if it works for dogs lol it works for humans."

She was right! If it involves a bacterial skin infection, Lavengel® truly shines. We even have a U.S. patent for our ability to target Staph bacteria - the primary culprit behind the majority of all bacterial skin infections.
All the more reason Lavengel® should be a part of every first aid kit in every home.
