How to Apply
Remember, a little bit goes a long way. All you need is a thin layer for the gel to work.
1. Make sure the skin is clean and any bleeding has stopped.
2. Apply the gel 2 to 3 times per day to the affected skin area.
3. Keep your pup distracted for a few minutes so that the gel has a chance to absorb.
Once they notice the lack of irritation, they tend to leave it alone. If they lick it off, you'll want to reapply it.
4. If they won't leave it alone, use a bandage and/or Elizabethan collar (cone) to prevent them from aggravating the area.
Because Lavengel® has a strong lavender scent when it is first applied, be cautious when using it on or near your dog’s nose. The scent will dissipate quickly.

Treating Your Dog's Rash with Lavengel®
Five Simple Ingredients, Four Potent Antioxidants
We believe that:
1. True wellness comes through good nutrition, not just medication.
2. Proper, effective wound healing can be done with the right antioxidants, or as we like to call it, smart molecular nutrition.
That’s it. We don't do harmful chemicals or preservatives - just clever, research-proven approach using nature's own powerful antioxidants.
Lavender Oil
What does lavender oil do?
Lavender has been used in various forms of therapy and healing since ancient times.
With skin irritations, lavender oil can provide a temporary analgesic (relieving) effect, but this effect is very short-lived since the oil does not effectively absorb into the skin on its own.
That's where Lavengel® comes in.
Our formula allows our organic lavender oil to absorb quickly and calm many canine skin irritations and itching within a matter of seconds.
Vitamin E TPGS
What does Vitamin E TPGS do?
TPGS is a unique form of Vitamin E that is water-soluble.
This means that, unlike normal Vitamin E (which is fat-soluble), it can penetrate the skin barrier - making it highly absorbent.
Not only that, TPGS also possesses the ability to encapsulate the other ingredients, making them water-soluble (i.e., more absorbable), too.
This ensures faster, more complete, and more lasting effects.
All said, this absorption capability, plus Vitamin E's natural capacity as an antioxidant, allows for enhanced wound hydration, irritation relief, and overall heal time - plus a reduction in scar tissue formation.
Zinc
What does zinc do?
Zinc is a vital trace mineral for all mammals.
It is crucial for supporting the immune system, which is responsible for fighting off infections and repairing damaged skin.
Within Lavengel®, zinc fights off free radicals that slow the healing process and helps provide the building blocks for collagen and keratin - the key proteins in skin and hair.
Vitamin C
What does Vitamin C do?
Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, is another nutrient that is vital for a myriad of processes in the body, like tissue growth, bones, cartilage, and blood vessels.
On top of that, Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant that works wonders in healing wounds when properly applied.
In our formula, Vitamin C palmitate uses its antioxidant powers along with the zinc and Vitamin E to combat free radicals and form new collagen.
Water
Water you waiting for?
It's hard to argue with water.
All creatures need it, and it serves as a wonderful base for topical products.
Our deionized-distilled water (i.e. as pure as it gets) holds all of its fellow ingredients in an easy-to-apply gel with a consistency similar to honey.

What Causes Dermatitis and Rashes on Dogs?
Dermatitis refers to inflammation of the skin in response to an allergen, irritant, infection, disruption, or hormonal disorder; rashes are technically a result of dermatitis.
Dermatitis and rashes in dogs can form either by damaging the skin via chewing, scratching, rubbing, or licking at an itch, or by direct reaction to an allergen or irritating substance. Some potential culprits for causing canine rashes are:
- Environmental allergens, such as mold, grass, or pollen
- Food allergies
- Parasitic bites from fleas, ticks, or mites
- Bacterial (pyoderma) or fungal (Malassezia yeast) infection
- Chemical substances, such as household cleaning compounds
- Injury or friction
- Bee or wasp stings
- Spider bites
- Cancer or hormonal disorders
Vet Tested, Vet Approved
Several years ago, Dr. Karen Stone, DVM, became the first veterinarian to try Lavengel® on canines, and she hasn’t looked back since. Hear her story for yourself:
"Compared to an OTC product or a lot of other veterinary products, I like it because it works quickly, effectively - and the most important part is, it’s completely non-toxic.

We Give to Help Rescue Dogs + Heroes
For every tube of Lavengel® sold, we donate to Companions for Heroes® (C4H), a non-profit organization that rescues dogs that might otherwise be euthanized.
C4H trains these rescue-dogs to be companion or service dogs, then pairs them - completely free-of-charge - with military personnel, veterans, and first-responders recovering from PTSD and other difficult trauma.
C4H also works to raise awareness for animal rescue, PTSD, and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
