How to Treat Your Dog's Irritated Feet
-
Clean + Dry the Paw
Carefully clean the affected paw with a mild soap or paw wipe and dry. Be sure to get between toes and pads and clear away debris.
-
Apply Lavengel
Lightly massage a thin layer of gel onto the area 2-3 times daily. You can use the tube to apply in-between toes and pads.
-
Distract Your Pup
Use a treat or toy to keep your dog from licking the gel so it can absorb and begin to relieve, moisturize, and heal the skin.
Vet Tested, Vet Approved
Several years ago, Dr. Karen Stone, DVM, became the first veterinarian to try Lavengel® on canines, and she hasn’t looked back since.
"Compared to an OTC product or a lot of other veterinary products, I like it because it works quickly, effectively - and the most important part is, it’s completely non-toxic.
Dog don't lie. It either works or it doesn't, and this does.”
What Makes Dogs Lick Their Paws?
Dogs lick paws for a variety of reasons. Sometimes it is to self-groom or cope with anxiety. Other times, it can be from pain, allergies, or a bacterial or yeast infection.
The more dogs lick and chew their paws, the more irritated the area can become (especially between toes and pads), increasing the risk of bleeding, sores, and infection.
Paw wounds, burns, and irritations can be difficult to treat, as many options are toxic, cause gastric upset, or cannot stop infection. That's where Lavengel® comes in.

We Give to Help Rescue Dogs + Heroes
For every tube of Lavengel® sold, we donate to Companions for Heroes® (C4H), a non-profit organization that rescues dogs that might otherwise be euthanized.
C4H trains these rescue-dogs to be companion or service dogs, then pairs them - completely free-of-charge - with military personnel, veterans, and first-responders recovering from PTSD and other difficult trauma.
C4H also works to raise awareness for animal rescue, PTSD, and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
